GAP Roofing & Construction LLC is a roofing contractor based in San Antonio, Texas, GAF Contractor ID 1294493. We serve San Antonio, New Braunfels, Seguin, Boerne, Bulverde, Schertz, Cibolo, Helotes, Castroville, Canyon Lake and the surrounding communities.
This policy covers the website at gaproofing.construction and the inspection request form on it. It does not cover other companies' websites we may link to.
02What we collect
Only what you type into the inspection form, plus a small amount of technical information our web host records automatically.

What gets recorded automatically
When the form is submitted we also record which language version of the page you were reading and the date and time you sent it. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, date of birth, bank account or card numbers, or a copy of your driver's license. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from GAP Roofing and asks for those through this website, it is not us — please call us at (210) 995-2571.
03Why we collect it
- To schedule and carry out the free inspection you asked for.
- To give you our findings, a scope of work, and a price.
- To follow up about that specific request.
- To keep records of work we've quoted or performed, including warranty records.
- To meet our legal, tax, and insurance obligations.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not feed it into advertising networks.
04Calls and text messages
When you submit the form you are agreeing that we may call and text you about your inspection. That consent covers scheduling, appointment reminders, inspection findings, and questions about your project. It is not a condition of buying anything from us, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Message frequency
It varies with your project. Most people get a handful of messages around the inspection and then nothing.
Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We don't charge you anything for the messages.
How to stop
- Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop texting that number.
- Reply HELP to any text for help.
- Tell us on the phone, or email office@gaproofing.construction, and we'll take you off calls, texts, or both.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
05Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your name, phone number, email address, or property address. Not to lead brokers, not to other contractors, not to anyone.
Your information is handled by our own crew and estimators, and by the service providers that make the website and our email work:
- Netlify — hosts the website and receives form submissions before passing them to us.
- Google Workspace — carries the email that the submission is delivered to.
- Our phone and text provider — delivers calls and messages.
These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.
We may also share information where we are legally required to — a court order, a subpoena, a lawful request from a government agency — or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim, or to protect someone's safety.
06Insurance coordination
If your roof was damaged by hail or wind and you ask us to help with an insurance claim, we may share inspection photos, measurements, and our scope of work with your insurance carrier or their adjuster — but only with your say-so, and only what the claim needs.
To be clear about what we are: we are a roofing contractor. We are not an insurance company, not a public adjuster, and not a claims processor. We document what we find on your roof. Decisions about your claim are between you and your carrier.
07Cookies and tracking
This website does not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics trackers. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Your browser stores the site's fonts and images so pages load faster on your next visit. That's normal browser caching, not tracking, and clearing your browser data removes it.
08How long we keep it
- Inspection requests we never reached, or that went nowhere: about 24 months, then deleted.
- Customers: for as long as any warranty on the work is live, plus the period our tax and insurance obligations require.
- Anything under an insurance claim or a legal matter: until that matter is closed.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see section 10.
09How we protect it
The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. Submissions land in a business email account protected by a password and two-step verification, and only staff who need to see a lead can see it.
We'll be honest with you: no website or company can promise perfect security. What we can promise is that we don't collect more than we need, we don't keep it longer than we need, and we don't hand it to people who have no business with it.
10Your choices
Whatever your state requires of us, these are things you can ask for and we will do:
- See it — ask us what we have about you.
- Fix it — tell us what's wrong and we'll correct it.
- Delete it — ask us to remove your information, unless we're required to keep it for a warranty, a claim, or the law.
- Stop contacting you — by phone, by text, by email, or all three.

11Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we'll delete it.
12Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the effective date at the top. Substantial changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
